Chairman of the Tripoli Bar Association. Member of the Laws Amendment Committee, member of
the committe entrusted with the task of amending Lebanon's rental law. Member of Lebanese
Arbitration Council.
Political Career: Elected deputy in 'North
Lebanon Two Contituency on June 21, 2005, on Saad Hariri's Lebanon Unity March 14 List .
Member of Saad Hariri's Future Movement Bloc. Future Movement North Lebanon Coordinator.
Minister of Justice in Hariri's fourth cabinet (October 26, 2000 - April 15, 2003).
Minister of Education and Higher Studies in Hariri's fifth cabinet (April 17, 2003 - October 26, 2004)
