Political Background: Founded with MP Khalil Hrawi the Biqaa-Zahle Front in 1986. Board member of the “Tall Chiha Hospital”:  Foreign Relations Secretary of the Orthodox Community in Zahleh and Biqaa. Member of of the Higher Zahle Committee. Member of the Biqaa National Development Committee. Appointed MP in 1991. Elected MP in 1992, 1996, 2000. Elected Deputy Speaker in 1992, re-elected in 1996.
