member of the Beirut Municipal Council, chairman of the Sports and Social Affairs
Committee (1998 to 2004), Director of the Beirut office of Al Mabani Engineering and
Contracting Company since 1992, General Manager of the Tourist Company for Engineering and
Contracting in Beirut (1982-1991), Worked after graduation as engineer in a number of
Saudi and Canadian companies.
Political Background: Appointed Minister of Tourism in Fouad Siniora
