| Lebanon's Solidere
tumbles 14 pct, drags index BEIRUT - Shares in Lebanon's market heavyweight Solidere tumbled nearly 15 percent on Monday, dragging the main index down 7 percent, along with other markets in the region. The real estate firm's A share fell 14.52 percent to $18 and its B share fell 14.28 percent to $18. Shares fell across the board on the BLOM index, with bank shares among the heavy fallers. Byblos Bank fell 9.54 percent to $1.80 and Bank Audi's GDRs fell 6.1 percent to $65.40. -Reuters |
