| Lebanon's Byblos Bank says
H1 profit up 13.8 pct BEIRUT - Lebanon's Byblos Bank said on Tuesday its unaudited net profit for the first half of 2007 had climbed 13.8 percent. Net profit rose to $41.4 million in the period from $36.4 million a year earlier, the bank said in a results statement published in Lebanese newspapers. Total assets stood at $8.7 billion at the end of June, up from $8.1 billion at the end of June 2006. -Reuters |
