Lebanon claims 110 Israeli air violations

Lebanese officials claim Israel violated Lebanon's air space 110 times and made eight raids into southern Lebanon in the past 96 days.

The report Tuesday by the Internal Security Force said between April 1 and July 5, more than 100 Israeli air violations of the U.N.-drawn blue line on the Lebanese-Israeli border were recorded. They were carried out by Israeli warplanes, helicopters and surveillance drones over south Lebanon, the Bekaa valley and other Lebanese regions.

Also eight air raids occurred during that period in and around the disputed Shabaa Farms in the border area. (UPI)
