March 14 Forces express surprise over the 'organized harmony' between Berri's press conference and the interview President Assad had with the Saudi daily al-Jazirah one day earlier; criticize Berri for describing the presence of Lebanon's MP's at the Parliament as disobedience 'without even uttering one word' about the four-month opposition sit-in in downtown Beirut.
Main points of Berri's reconciliation project
Opposition forces would approve an international tribunal for former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri assassination case following discussions involving four pro and anti-tribunal figurers. Afterwards, ministerial portfolios are to be distributed.
Once the trial issue is settled, ministerial portfolios are to be distributed on the basis of the 19-11 formula.
The two proposals relating to the tribunal and government would then be sent to Saudi Arabia for signing, under the sponsorship of Saudi King Abdullan bin Abdul-Aziz, by the 14 Lebanese leaders who met last year around what was termed as Lebanon's dialogue table.
Once this happens, the sit-in in central Beirut will be over.
The draft tribunal, in its new formula, will then be sent to the Parliament for further deliberations and approval. Afterwards, it will be referred to the prime minister for signing in the presence of the President of the Republic, and then finally to the UN.
NB -The 14 leaders Berri referred to are: Nabih Berri, Fouad Siniora, Amin Gemayel, Michel Aoun,  Hassan Nasrallah or a delegate, Saad Hariri, Walid Jumblat,  Michel Murr, Ghassan Tueni, Samir Geagea, Elie Skaff, Mohammad Safadi, Butros Harb and Hagop Pakradonian.
