Fomer MP legal expert Hassan Rifaii explains that according to article 6 of the parliament's bylaws, the parliament can ask its deputy speaker to call for a session if the speaker fails to appear without a legitimate excuse.
Explains that if the speaker blocks entry to the parliament by force, the deputy speaker may call the parliament to convene outside its premises.
Affirms that the current government is by all mean legitimate, stressing that the current president can in no way form another government, or refuse to hand over his authority to the current government in case the presidential elections fail to take place.
