| Walter Siouffi appointed
Citigroup Country Officer in Lebanon Citigroup today announced the appointment of Mr. Walter Siouffi as Citigroup Country Officer in Lebanon, who assumes this post from Elia Samaha who has recently moved to Egypt as the Corporate and Investment Banking Country Head. Lebanon: Sunday, January 08 - 2006 Mr. Siouffi is a seasoned banker having spent over 20 years in various positions at Citigroup, Royal Bank of Canada and American Express Bank. Most recently, Mr. Siouffi held the post of Corporate and Investment Banking Head for Citigroup in Lebanon, having first joined Citigroup in 2000 as a Emerging Markets Corporate Banking Head. He holds a Business degree in Commerce from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. 'I am delighted to lead a great team of professionals and to run a mature business that has been diligently built over the past decade,' said Mr. Siouffi.
