| U.S. holds "Made in
America 2004" trade fair in Beirut Beirut, Lebanon, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- More than 160 U.S. companies will feature their goods at "Made in America 2004" trade fair at the Export Center of Beirut Port. New U.S. Ambassador in Lebanon Jeffrey Feltman made the announcement Monday at a press conference in the Export Center, emphasizing the strong trade relations between Lebanon and the United States. He said Holly Vineyard, deputy assistant secretary of commerce for the Middle East, will travel to Lebanon to attend the Trade Fair, the second of its kind in this Middle Eastern Arab country. Among the U.S. companies participating in the fair to be held Sept. 1-3 are Hard Hat Bid, Quality Care, Evara Group and Electric Mobility, as well as Microsoft, Procter and Gamble General Electric, IBM and Tyson Food. |
