Owners of Tripoli KFC condemn bombing
The chairman of the board of the Kuwaiti Food Company denounced last weeks bombing
of a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise in Tripoli, saying the company would continue to
invest in Lebanon.
On Saturday, Nasser Mohammed al-Khurafi contacted the local management of the restaurant,
which is owned by the Kuwaiti company, after the bombing and ordered the resumption of
work and investment, despite the circumstances, as a gesture of faith in Lebanon.
The company invested in Lebanon under the worst circumstances and during brutal
Israeli aggression, he said, asserting that the company would continue to invest in
Lebanon despite the attack.
The companys investments, manpower and products are 100 percent Arab, he
said, thanking Lebanese officials for denouncing the attack.
